Welcome Welcome Welcome

Welcome to LexieBoo - the blog dedicated to the life and times of my daughter Lexie.

As you can see there are a couple of posts already - given that Lexie and I are both under the weather with a cold today - I guess it's not the most auspicious way to launch this little project of ours.

However, I welcome you to our online home! Please feel free to post comments and enjoy the posts.

I thought I would share for the occasion. Lexie was practicing getting ready to crawl this afternoon and getting quite grumpy about it too! I couldn't stop laughing... see what you think -- predictions please! When do we think Lexie will get it coordinated and do the crawl !!

Okay - so this looks a little mean, but seriously I was doing something, heard a commotion, turned around and she was doing the 'why can't I crawl yet!' what could I do - but grab my video camera - she's just so cute. A big cuddle with mum after and as you can see in video number 2 - she was happy as larry just frustrated she can't crawl yet!!

Trying to crawl

What happened when Mum stepped in - see she says 'I'm happy, just frustrated!'

Tomorrow - Eating is fun ...

She was so funny, she was getting so annoyed, but I kind of had to leave her to it - I mean that is how they learn. Eventually I stepped in, I thought she was getting upset - turns out not upset - just frustrated, the minute I went to her she was smiling away (0:

Thanks sweety, I just got the vapouriser my mum has had since my brother was a baby out and it is now steaming away in the corner. Lexie is as babies are when they are sick - grizzly! Had to put her in the shower at 6am this morning to relieve congestion. It's ok for adults we can blow our nose - but poor little babies, all you can do is put them on their tummy which seems to work or pop them in the shower with lots of steam! So, a day at home it is for us (0:
